DeSoto Capital Management
The focus of the company is to offer speculative managed futures accounts in the financial futures markets, including stock market indices (e.g., S&P 500).
The firm uses proprietary trading methodologies and logic developed over the course of years of intensive analysis and study. The goal of DeSoto Capital Management is to provide excellent investor returns which are uncorrelated to the typical stock and bond portfolio, in hopes of achieving a smoother return stream for the client's overall portfolio valuation.
E-Mini Futures Program
Trading on the E-Mini Program began on April 21, 2003.This Program trades a single market - the S&P 500 e-Mini futures contract traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). This contract is one of the most liquid and heavily traded stock index futures available. It also has reduced margin requirements, making it appropriate for smaller account sizes. This program allows for a low initial account size, but the excellent liquidity of the S&P e-Mini contract should allow larger accounts to trade this program as well.
