A theoretician in human perception, she is most well-known for work in creating performance improvements based on her framework of fractally patterned emotional contexts. A former member of CME Group, Ms. Shull authored Market Mind Games, published by McGraw-Hill and available January 13, 2012. She also belongs to the Society for Neuroeconomics, the Social and Affective Neuroscience Society and the Association for Psychological Science.
