What are Auto-Traded Strategies?

  • Automated strategies are trading strategies that were developed by trading experts and that are being executed automatically on a clients account (according to that strategy's predetermined trading rules).

How Does Auto-Trading Work?

  • The strategy developer either sends their strategy signals to the SR server from a 3rd party platform/programming language (via SAS) or hosts the strategies directly on the SR server and it sends its signals from there.
  • Then, Strategy Runner uses the order routing capabilities of technology partners to transfer the strategy order for execution at the exchange via the relevant clearing house. Depending on the technology provider, either the clearing house hosts the SR server at their facilities or the SR servers are located at technology providers' data centers and are linked to specific FCM's
